Tropical Cyclones Could Develop

Even though the official start of the South Pacific tropical season is still more than a month away, an area of low pressure could become a named tropical cyclone in the next day or two.

Solomon Islands Foreign Affairs Minister, Hon. Milner Tozaka yesterday joined world leaders in reinforcing the message of peace and ideals of humanity in a Peace Summit held at UN General Assembly.
The RSIPF Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team successfully carried out the operation to render the bomb safe by defusing the projectile before safely transporting it to Hells Point in the Alligator Creek area in East of Honiara.

Police Successfully Defuse WW2 Bomb

Honiara City was on shut down on 13th September when the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force conducted a Render Safe Procedure to an unexploded bomb from World War 2.
