The "What is Mining? Train the Trainer" course was developed by the Isabel Mothers Union and The Nature Conservancy (TNC) Solomon Islands with technical support from The University of Queensland.

Isabel Province communities in and around proposed mine sites are now feeling more informed about mining following the launch last week of an awareness programme to be rolled out across the province.
