Pacific Islands Development Forum Begins

The 4th summit of the Pacific Islands Development Forum is set to begin in the Solomon Islands capital of Honiara today.

Solomon Islands Extends Reconciliation Plans to PNG and Bougainville

Following its one week reconciliation program in Honiara the Solomon Islands Government is planning to extend its reconciliation efforts to neighbouring Papua New Guinea and the Autonomous Bougainville Region.
“Our hearts are not in tune with our profession of religiousness and this programme is about getting the formula right. We must be willing to emulate the character of God in forgiving one another," says the Prime Minister.
