The hype is in as form five students finally get to see their long awaited results.

Printed in one of the local paper, Island Sun, parents and young students alike rushed for copies of today's issue for the 2008 form five results.

A street seller for Island Sun said people were rushing to grab a copy and "the first time for our paper to sell out within few minutes of release".

The Solomon Islands School Certificate (SISC) results have been released later than usual this year.

Students approached said it's a relief as some of them have come from the provinces just to wait for their results.

A form five student of Saint Stephen Pamua, Flora Waisi, said that with the results finally out, "I will board the MV Kaona back to home, Makira Province".

"We can't expect all of us who sat the exam to pass to form six, but at least we have seen the results and know where we stand so the long wait is over," she said.

Solomon Times understands that results for forms 3, 6 and 7 are yet to be released.
