The Waitakere United football club from New Zealand has signed a number of players for the OFC Champions League, to be played in Fiji next month.

Heading the list is Solomon Islander Benjamin Totori, who has been added for his goal scoring abilities and experience.

Three of the arrivals are from fellow ASB Premiership sides with midfielder Tom Biss and defender Aaron Jones joining from Hawke’s Bay United and winger Joel Stevens likewise heading north from Team Wellington.

Waitakere has been drawn in Group A and will face AS Pirae (Tahiti), Kiwi FC (Samoa) and Solomon Warriors (Solomon Islands) at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
