The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) Technical Department recently witnessed promising strides in youth football development in Noro, Western Province.

During their visit, the team observed local coaches' dedication to nurturing young talent, highlighted by a Football Fun Festival held in Tuna Town. 

This festival brought together the community to celebrate and support grassroots football, emphasizing the importance of developing young players at the local level.

The SIFF team also met with key stakeholders, including representatives from Soltuna, National Fisheries Development (NFD), Solomon Ports, and the Noro Town Council.

Each stakeholder expressed a strong commitment to fostering football development in the region, contributing to a community-driven approach for youth sports growth in Noro.

The Football Fun Festival attracted over 200 children, making it a vibrant and successful day dedicated to football and youth engagement.

This enthusiastic turnout underscored the community's passion for the sport and highlighted the importance of grassroots initiatives in shaping the future of Solomon Islands football.
