Our Telekom has donated SBD$5,000 towards the Children's Christmas Carol by Candlelight event.
Our Telekom Assistant Manager Marketing, Ms Rachel Rahii presented the donation to the Chairlady of the Children's Christmas Carol by Candlelight, Mrs. Ida Tamei and Treasurer, Mrs. Grace Piniau on Tuesday 4th November at the Telekom Haus.Children's Christmas Carol by Candlelight event will be held on the 14th of December this year. It is a special program organized for children in the Solomon Islands.
Hundreds of children all over the country have been invited to participate in this event with a total of ten school choirs and ten church choirs comprising of forty children of all ages in each choir to perform Christmas carols on the night. There will be special features from selected local artists and singers with Scripture Vibration Gospel Band as a leading band. Fireworks are planned with presentation of small gifts for the children.
Mrs. Tamei and Mrs. Piniau on behalf of the organizers of the event conveyed their thanks to Our Telekom for the generous assistance.
