Police Finalize Operational Plans for Elections

Provincial Police Commanders (PPC) throughout Solomon Islands are in Honiara to finalize its preparations for the upcoming National General Election (NGE) on 3rd April 2019.

About forty officers from the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) are currently undergoing training and screening at the Rove Police Headquarters in Honiara to be eligible for United Nations (UN) Peacekeeping Missions deployment.
The Solomon Islands only receives a small number of visitors and has them spread out over a vast archipelago.

Date for ‘Me Save Solo’ Announced

Tourism Solomons has confirmed the second annual ‘Me Save Solo’ tourism exchange will take place in Honiara, Solomon Islands on 05 July 2019.
