Australia's High Commissioner to Fiji has received another death threat, the third threat against the High Commissioner.

According to Fijilive, the third death threat letter was received last week and the High Commissioner, Mr. James Batley, is currently out of Fiji.

Fijilive reports that Police Director Operations, SSP Waisea Tabakau, 'said the letter has the same content as the two previous ones and this time it has been sent by post'.

Police in Fiji have yet to arrest anyone for the two earlier death threats although they had earlier announced that they have some suspects.
The threats are said to have been made by people who were unhappy with Australia's stance on Fiji's political situation.
