Three members of parliament were sworn-in before the Governor General, His Excellency, Sir David Vunagi yesterday morning to serve as ministers of the crown.
The swearing-in ceremony formalises the appointment of Nestor Ghiro as the new Minister for Fisheries and Marine Resources, John Moffat Fugui as the new Minister for Education and Human Resources Development and Anthony Veke as the new Minister for Police, National Security and Correctional Services.
Minister Veke was reshuffled from the Ministry of Provincial Government and Institutional Strengthening to replace Lanelle Tanangada, who recently resigned as the Minister for Police, National Security and Correctional Services.
