Solomon Islands will host the finals of the 2027 OFC Pro League season, the Oceania Football Confederation said on 6 October when it released the full fixture list and host nations for the competition.
The 2027 season also brings a new finals format involving all eight clubs. The play-offs start on 25 May, followed by the quarter-finals on 29 May, the semi-finals on 2 June and the final on Sunday 6 June.
OFC said the decision follows the hosting of circuit series 4 of the inaugural season at Honiara's National Stadium earlier this year, when the ground was packed with fans.
The second season of Oceania's first professional football league starts on Friday 22 January in Australia, with hosting duties for the first circuit series shared between Australia and Papua New Guinea.
The opening match of the 2027 campaign is between Vanuatu United FC and Solomon Kings FC. Defending champions Auckland FC then begin their title defence on the same Friday in a rematch of the 2026 final against South Melbourne FC.
The other two semi-finalists from 2026, South Melbourne FC and Vanuatu United FC, meet in the opening circuit series on Thursday 28 January.
Circuit series 2 runs from 13 to 21 February in Australia. Circuit series 3, from 6 to 13 March, is shared between New Zealand and Solomon Islands, and circuit series 4 is played in New Zealand from 6 to 11 April.
The first New Zealand derby of the season comes in circuit series 3, with South Island United meeting Auckland FC on Sunday 7 March.
Circuit series 5, from 1 to 8 May, is shared between Fiji and Vanuatu, with Vanuatu hosting for the first time.
The eight clubs in the competition are Auckland FC, Bula FC, PNG Hekari FC, Solomon Kings FC, South Island United, South Melbourne FC, Tahiti United and Vanuatu United FC.
OFC said the second season will build on the rivalries of the inaugural season, with new players, new coaches and new venues.
