The Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) acknowledges the Australian High Commission office in Honiara for their continuous support towards the work the Chamber does in representing the private sector in Solomon Islands.

SICCI Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ms. Natalina Hong made the acknowledgement following the successful hosting of the Chamber’s flagship training event the Directorship Programme from 27 to 30 April in Honiara.

Australian High Commissioner, Dr Lachlan Strahan hosted the participants to meet and greet the alumni of the Directorship Programme, SICCI Sponsors and other important stakeholders at his residence on Thursday 29 April.

CEO Ms. Hong also acknowledges the Australian High Commission for extending its support for SICCI Secretariat to continue the work of its Export Industry Development Department especially in expanding support to the provinces and increasing advocacy agenda.

SICCI Chairman, Ricky Fuo’o had the opportunity to thank the Australian High Commission during the evening.

“The Chamber’s achievement as a growing organization representing the private sector is only possible due to the support of our 200 members and the growing trust and relationship built with partners such as the Australian government.”

 SICCI will continue its strategy efforts to remove barriers to growth and improve the business environment by delivering events that facilitate cross-learning, conduct trainings that build and improve the capacity of businesses to achieve their full potential.
