Second Jab Commence at Rove Correctional Facility

The second jab of the AstraZeneca COVID – 19 vaccines commenced on Friday 17 December 2021 at Rove Correctional facility.

Correctional inmates at Rove Central Correctional Centre (RCCC) received and completed their second jab of the AstraZeneca COVID – 19 vaccines.

The vaccination team from the Honiara City Council Health Division and RCCC Nurses conducted the second jab for the inmates.

This comes about after some very thoughtful deliberation by his CSSI’s management team, through its hard-working representative within the National Emergency Response Team (NERT) in Honiara.

This exercise will continue on until every inmate received and completed their second jab of both the AstraZeneca and Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine.

RCCC Commandant and management would like to thank the HCC hard working staff for rolling out the second COVID – 19 Vax for the inmates.
