The Solomon Islands People's Alliance Party (PAP)will hold its National Convention coming February to elect its new leaders.

The Convention will allow the participants to approve its annual work program and assist the party for the 2014 general elections.

The current vacant position of the party are the President, vice presidents and national executives.

The party encourages its members in rural areas and in the provinces to pay up their membership fees before the national convention and send in their motion for party convention considerations.

Only members of the party will be able to contest the PAP official posts of National President, eligible with a membership of at least twelve months.

The Party clarifies that the current incumbent for the post of PAP Parliamentary Wing leader is the Member for North VellaLa Vella, Hon. Milner Tozaka.
