The increasing number of traffic accidents should not be the responsibility of the authority.
Director of Kukum Traffic Centre, Albert Samani, said that all citizens should be more responsible when on the road."If all citizens act more responsible on the road, be more in control and observe safety measures on road rules, then there should not be a problem," he said.
With the increasing number of accidents and road death tolls, Kukum Traffic officers are embarking on an awareness campaign.
"We will be visiting business houses and other stakeholders to give awareness talks on road safety measures," Mr. Samani said.
He said it is hoped that such awareness would help to bring about a positive outcome.
