DJ Graphics in conjunction with the Solomon Islands Football Federation welcomes home the Bilikiki boys' team.

The team received a heroes welcome Saturday on arrival by officials from SIFF and DJ Graphics before going through immigrations and customs.

Flower girls garlanded the team and their official upon arrival.

Commented Impact Sports Manager: "Win or lose this does not change the fact that Bilikiki flew Solomon Islands flag in the World stage and deserved to be treated like heroes."

The Bilikiki team later traveled in a motorcade through the centre of the city to Town Ground and returning to Lawson Tama where they were officially welcomed.

Meanwhile, SIFF thanked DJ Graphics through its CEO Mrs. Inca Chow for belating the team in Brisbane during their stop-over and also for initiating the welcome ceremony for the team in Honiara.

The Bilikiki boys finished third in their Pool B, which had Portugal, Italy and El Salvador. They lost 7- 4 to Italy, 13-4 to Portugal before overcoming El Salvador in the final match by beating them 6-3.

Chief goal poacher James Naka was the hero for his team in that match, scoring four goals before his captain Gideon Omokirio wrapped up with two of his goals.

He made up for his two defensive blunders which saw him scoring two own goals in the tournament.
