The Team Solomon female beach volleyball duo continue to perform well at the Mini Games.

According to coach and team manager, Suzie Leong, the Team Solomon beach volleyball reps, Rose Gwali and Hannah Donga are expected to continue their good form if they keep to their strategy of playing a composed and smart game against their opponents in the opening round.

“The girls are playing great and we hope they can maintain the current momentum throughout the round robbin”, coach Leong explained.

The beach volleyball women with their recent victory against Palau and NMI, also won their third straight match against French Wallis & Futuna side.

The duo showcased great team effort and play in their games, sending a message to other participating countries that the two intend to go all the way for TEAM SOLOMON into the next round.

The focus now however, will be on the toughest match yet, which will be against current Pacific champions, Vanuatu.

Beach Volleyball has become a very popular sport at the Pacific Games led by the iconic Vanuatu Women’s team who have won every Beach Volleyball title since the 2011 Pacific Games in New Caledonia, including on home sand at the last Pacific Mini Games in Vanuatu in 2017.
