The National Referral Hospital was treated to a Royal visit when the Duchess of Gloucester yesterday paid a visit to the Children's ward.

The Duchess of Gloucester was accompanied by Lady Alice Waena and the members of the First Ladies Charity Group.

Dr. James Auto led the tour around the children's ward where the Duchess of Gloucester had the chance to talk to the sick children and their parents.

The Duchess's visit attracted a large crowd of patients and visitors around the Children's Ward to witness this historical event.

The Duchess of Gloucester then presented four boxes of bed sheets to the Children's Ward on behalf of the First Ladies Charity Group.

"This visit has definitely brought happiness to the children and we are thankful to the Duchess of Gloucester for visiting the Children's Ward," said Dr. Auto
