Counting of votes for Central Honiara and North East Guadalcanal Constituencies had resumed this morning with Central Honiara having 9 batches to count and North East Guadalcanal 2 batches.
Unofficial count at the close of counting yesterday suggests two candidates are clear leaders. 3 batches were completed yesterday, there are 9 remaining batches left.
In North East Guadalcanal two candidates are also leading with very little separating them. 2 batches were completed yesterday, only 2 more batches left.
The electoral office says the official results will be published after the countings are completed for both constituencies.
