Canoe Black, the latest addition to the Canoe brand, has wowed guests at a surprise launch at the recent Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) Business After 5, hosted by Solomon Breweries (SolBrew) with support from Solomon Airlines.
At 3.5% alcohol percentage and in a 250ml can, Canoe Black will certainly be challenging the market
preference for high alcohol.
SolBrew's Managing Director, Peralt van der Merwe said that Canoe Black is SolBrew’s exploration of lower alcohol percentage beer.
“Solomon Islands is a high alcohol market but ultimately beer for SolBrew is about responsible enjoyment and socialising,"
He further said, Canoe Black is very much for the new breed of consumers that are looking for responsible enjoyment and experiences.
Guests at the exclusive launch included SICCI staff and members, SolBrew distributors and representatives from the SolBrew and Solomon Airlines staff.
