Many members of the public have agreed to the publicized names of the outstanding warrants by the police.

So far 162 names have been publicized through the media last week and many more names are expected to follow as according to the Police Media.

"I am quite happy that the police have publicized names to bring these people in. This could fast track the work of the police," says Ms Tina Lai during an interview with Solomon Times.

"According to many citizens, the publication of the names will further strengthen relationship with the Police as when the public are aware, they will be willing to help," continues Ms. Lai.

Ms. Lai is one of the many members of the public who have praised the work of the Police regarding the arrest warrants.

Meanwhile, other members of the public are wondering why many of the warrants are dated back as far as the early 60s when all this time they had thought many issues with the Police during those times had been dealt with.
