Tetere Police have arrested and charged a 25-year-old man from Green Valley with seven offences after he entered two houses in the early hours of 15 March 2008.

At around 3:00am on the same night at Totoba village, the man entered another house carrying a knife and allegedly cut a second victim's forehead. The man tried to stab the victim a second time but was unsuccessful.

Police believe the 25-year-old male was intoxicated at the time of the incidents.
The suspect was arrested by Tetere Police after they received a report of the two incidents and responded quickly to the call for assistance.

The 25-year-old man was charged with unlawful wounding, going armed in public, threatening violence, demanding money, malicious damage, criminal trespass and drunk and disorderly.

The man appeared in the Honiara Magistrates Court today.
