The Prime Minister Danny Philip and his former press Secretary Alfred Sasako will face the Court next month in a defamation case.

Deputy Opposition leader Mathew Wale filed the case before the High Court early last month.

The High Court registry office confirms they will hold a hearing on April 14th.

Mr Wale is suing Prime Minister Philip and his former press Secretary Alfred Sasako following the publication of a report last month alleging that Mr Wale had colluded with foreign agents to bring down the government.

The supposed "secret intelligence report" alleged the involvement of RAMSI and certain Australian agents conspiring to bring down the current NCRA Government.

The report came out during the political upheaval last month when several Crown Ministers resigned from the Government.

The registry office said the hearing next month is only for mention.
