Solomon Islanders who are eligible to vote in the coming national elections have until tomorrow to ensure that their names are on the voters' list.

The 10 days period from Tuesday last week had been set aside for people to ensure draft voter's list are correct.

Meanwhile, the Registration Officer for Honiara, Mr Musu Kevu says Draft List of voters for the city is being posted in various locations in the city.

He says any eligible voters must check draft lists either at those locations where the lists have been posted or at their Honiara City Council office.

Mr Kevu says people must check and correct the draft list by filling in appropriate forms and submitting it to the officer.

Meanwhile, a concerned voter of Kiu village, of ward 25 in West Are Are, Malaita province says voters in his area have not yet seen their draft voters list for the coming elections.

He says this has caused growing doubts among the local voters on whether they will be able to cast their votes in the upcoming elections, some even calling for an extension.

The electoral commission says that despite the logistical challenges, they are doing all they can to reach the rural mass before the deadline.
