Bilikiki's preparation
Bilikiki encountered another set back i believe in their preparation towards the FIFA beach soccer worldcup in France. Apart from the intensive trainings in Honiara, the proposed friendly matches were cancelled due to the untimely VISA application and late arrival from PNG. Well this could be regarded as another last minute administraive skills from responsible bodies, but, the essence of having friendly matches is important for this event, since, our Bilikiki boys entered into this competition without a Oceania qualifying tournament. However, I wish our boys all the best and as far as I know there are two teams that entered into competition without friendly matches and eventually made their way up: Senegal managed to reach quarter-final in the previous FIFA Worldcup and Greece which won the Euro cup in 2004.
