Triathlon Solomon Islands (TriSI) will now adapt to a high performance strategy that aims to build an aligned performance system from pathways to the podium with support from the Solomon Islands National Institute of Sport (SINIS).

TriSI signed a long-term partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SINIS HP and the National Sports Council (NSC) this week.

This will focus in developing triathlon athletes and coaches with the High-Performance vision and mission.

TriSI President Joe Ramosaea commended SINIS HP and NSC for making sure that the right support systems are in place to allow athletes and coaches to excel at the elite international level.

“We would like to thank SINIS through this MOU for us finally accessing high level of facilities and services provided,” Ramosaea said.

“With the contents of this MOU we see there are a lot of opportunities that triathlon can benefit from, especially to improve our athletes performance. And SINIS HP and NSC will continue their support to our executive in terms of governance that is designed to develop our sport."

The High-Performance support is performance driven, athlete/coach focused, optimized and supported programs and services.
