Kossa has been pooled alongside Fiji champions Ba and Vanuatu' Tafea FC in the toughest pool in the O-League.

The OFC website reported that Tafea FC will play Kossa FC on the 27th of October at the Lawson Tama stadium in the first Group B match of the O-League. Fiji's Ba will take home advantage against Tafea FC four days later in the second Group B match. All remaining Group matches are scheduled for early next year.

Kossa booked their O-League birth after a thrilling 4-3 win over Koloale in the Solomon Islands National Club Championship final. The team to beat in Pool B is Ba who reached the finals in the last O-League playoffs but lost the titles race on aggregated points. Kossa will is also expected to meet tough opposition in their other group matches.

Beach soccer stars James Naka, Joe Lui, Samson Takayama, Gideon Omokirio and John Morgan will lead Kossa against Ba and Tafea FC in the first round.

In related news the Solomon Islands National soccer team defeated Kossa FC 3-1 at the Lawson Tama Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Henry Jr Fa'arodo, Stanley Waita and George Suri joined the national team since arriving a week ago. Benjamin Totori is also expected to the join the National team after arriving late last week.
