A former member of Parliament for West Kwaio in Malaita Province George Luialamo passed away at the weekend.
The late Luialamo was admitted to the National Referral Hospital last Wednesday after a minor stroke and passed away early yesterday morning.He was elected into Parliament in the 1980s and held various ministerial portfolios.
The late Luialamo's body will be taken home to Afutara this afternoon after a funeral service at Holy Cross Cathedral.
