Touch Rugby Association Solomon Islands announced 18 female athletes for the women’s touch rugby national squad to begin High-Performance training.

This was following a trial selection conducted based on field performance, training and beep test data results provided by the High-Performance Strength & Conditioning team and Talent Pathway officers – and assessed by the touch rugby association coaches.

According to the touch association, there will be two more additional athletes to complete a 20-member squad, similarly through the High-Performance Talent Identification process.
