Solomon Airlines and Air Niugini have agreed on a revised Terms of Code-Share Agreement to and from Fiji.

Solomon Airlines today advised that the current code-share agreement (which was terminated at the beginning of May) between the two airlines for the route of Honiara to Nadi has been revised and new terms agreed to with immediate effect.

On that basis, Solomon Airlines and Air Niugini will now extend this agreement until further notice and have re-opened the route for sale from today onwards.

Solomon Airlines said "we are pleased with the outcome and whilst we continue dialogue to further cement the future of our code-share agreement with Air Niugini; it is evident that we both need each other to maintain this crucial link between PNG; Solomon Islands and Fiji."

Passengers wanting to review their plans to and from Fiji are now able to make contact with Solomon Airlines or their nearest travel agent to ensure their travel arrangements are secure and in keeping with their travel requirements.

In other news, Solomon Airlines has re-introduced services to Batuna weekly effective immediately.

The airline said "we have had requests to re-introduce these services and there will be a weekly service every Monday through Batuna to Gizo and returning every Thursday from Gizo via Batuna to Honiara."
