The Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SICCI) is pleased to announce two new hosts for this year’s Business Excellence Awards (BEA) which will take place on Saturday 20th November at the Coral Sea Resort from 6pm.

SICCI’s very own Simaema Neilsen and Uriel Matanani will be the official master of ceremonies for the upcoming Business Excellence Awards 2021, as preparations for the biggest awards ceremony of the private sector closes down to another exciting episode.

Ms. Neilsen, who is the Chamber’s Membership and Services Officer, is excited to be selected as an MC of Solomon Islands’ most prestigious business awards event that will bring together stakeholders supporting the private sector in celebrating success.

“I am privileged and excited to be hosting this year’s 2021 Business Excellence Awards. I am happy to be a part of an event that not only celebrates local businesses that have achieved outstanding success and made significant contributions to our communities and country but also acknowledging and celebrating the resilience, growth and perseverance of our local
businesses despite such trying times.

“In the past I have also had the opportunity to host awards such as the Solomon Islands Women in Business Awards, this time around I am looking forward to celebrating with all businesses and on this note I wish to extend my gratitude and thanks to SICCI for the opportunity. I am excited to share the stage with Uriel and we are both looking forward to a great night celebrating with everyone all that is best in business,” she said.

Co-host Mr Matanani comes from a media background and is currently Manager, Cooperate Communication at the Central Bank of Solomon Islands (CBSI).

“I know this selection was done with due diligence and I am most thankful to the SICCI Team for recognising me and I look forward to the BEA and wish all SICCI members and businesses all the best for this event,” Mr. Matanani said.

The 2021 BEA is planned to give attendants a memorable occasion and show recognition to successful people and businesses in the private sector with some of the country’s best entertainers.

The BEA is also confirmed to host Prime Minister Hon. Manasseh Sogavare who will present the top award the Prime Minister’s Business Excellence Award.

This year ten (10) businesses and/or individuals will again be honoured at the award
ceremony in the following categories:
