The Ni-Vanuatu musical icon, Vanessa Quai, did not cease to please her fans in Honiara during her two shows staged over the weekend.

Hosted by the Kingdom Harvest Ministries International in Solomon Islands, the successful show had on stage local bands including 3 Kings, Soul Seekers, Scripture Vibration, among others to entertain the crowd while waiting for Vanessa.

With the support of the Kingdom Harvest Worship Team, Vanessa and her family - parents, Nigel and Christiane and her brother, Tito - rocked the Multipurpose Hall with a blend of island, reggae, dance and hip-hop beats on stage.

Also on stage was Solo Idol 2008, David Auna, who performed his winning song "Be free", giving the crowd a surprise duet with Pacific's best, Vanessa.

Fans were on their feet to the beat of Vanessa's popular track, "Freedom" singing in unison "We need freedom in the Solomon Islands".

The crowd was a good blend of young and old who gathered for a night of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through songs and music.

Dubbed "the most successful female artist in the region", Vanessa impressed fans of not just being a talented singer reaching notes linked to Mariah Carey, but also staged superb dance performances throughout her two hours show.

Major sponsor to the successful weekend show was the Red Mansion Comfort Inn.
