Solomon Islands Parliament will meet next week.

The 24th July meet will be the second since the Sikua-led government came into power December last year.

Arrangements are being made for members of Parliament residing in their home constituencies to return to Honiara for the meeting.

SIBC reports that one of the bills up for debate in the coming meeting is a supplementary appropriation Bill.

This will cover monies earmarked to start major rice farms and other government expenses.
