Hon. Joses Sanga has called on the Parliamentary opposition to stop using the tsunami disaster for political mileage.

Mr. Sanga described the recent statements by the opposition leader as immature and insensitive. "The strange thing is Mr. Fono was aware of the trip, in fact we were waiting for him at the airport"

Earlier, Mr. Fono attacked Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare's delegation to the tsunami stricken areas, "it is inexcusable for the Prime Minister to be two weeks late"

Mr Fono went on to say that in times of disaster the Prime Minister could easily appoint someone to take care of cabinet matters. "The first person these people should see is their Prime Minister; it is what any responsible leader should do"
