Police are investigating a burglary at the Seventh Day Adventist-owned Betikama High School.

It has been reported that intruders entered the school's carving shop Wednesday night.

Police were informed that intruders accessed the carving shop through a window by cutting the cyclone wire.

Reports state that the intruders removed 3 louvre blades to gain entry, and stole custom shell money from the shop.

Police are urging business owners to assess the security on their businesses and homes to reduce this type of crime from occurring.

Investigation is continuing.
