The 2009 Pacific Mini Games came to an end on Friday in the Cook Islands. Fiji took first place with a total of 78 medals.

The 78 medals consisted of 32 gold, 26 silver and 20 bronze.

New Caledonia took second place with 23 gold, 21 silver and 22 bronze, a total of 66 medals.
Tahiti was in third with 21 gold, 22 silver and 16 bronze, totaling 59 medals.
Samoa took out fourth place with 16 gold, 16 silver and 24 bronze, a total of 56 medals, while host country, Cook Islands, took fifth place with 15 gold, 13 silver and 17 bronze, a total of 45.

The rest of the countries in the top 10 are Kiribati (6th), Nauru (7th), Vanuatu (8th), Tonga (9th) and Solomon Islands at 10th place.
