Malaita Kwikwi are the champions of the 2020 National Invitational Beach Soccer Championship.

Malaita Kwikwi beat Honiara Titans 6-5 in a thrilling final at the DC Park. 

Malaita Kwikwi captain and national beach soccer rep Roy Mafane said his boys deserved to win the National Beach Soccer Championship since they had prepared well for the tournament.

Mafane says that the Kwikwi boys would gladly represent the country if given the chance to wear the national colors in any upcoming international tournament.

Opposite number, Iconic Solomon Islands Beach Soccer former player, James Naka is impressed with the talents on show during the week-long tournament and is adamant with the right coaching provincial players will play at the highest level of beach soccer.

Mae Ome of Malaita Kwikwi also received the best goal keeper award of the National Beach Soccer tournament for his impressive performances in goal.
