Workers of the Heritage Park Hotel have found skeletal remains of World War 2 soldiers.

Speaking at yesterday's weekly press conference, Acting Police Commissioner, Mr. Walter Kola said that police are still carrying out investigations on the site.

"The grave was discovered by workers and there were also body remains, American helmets, mess tins, grenades and other light military equipments," said Mr. Kola.

Mr. Kola stated that all the items recovered, including the human remains, are stored at the Forensic Office.

The Acting Police Commissioner acknowledged the management of the Heritage Park Hotel for cooperating with the police and reporting the discovery to the police.

Mr. Kola added that it is quite a relief that no one was injured, as there was enough firepower to cause serious injury.
