The first official result for the 2019 national general elections has been released by the Electoral Commission.
Chief Electoral Officer Moses Saitala has formally announced the winning candidate for Maringe/Kokota, Dr Calwick Togamana has retained his seat.
Results as follows;
1) Dr Calwick Togamana - 2,462
2) Cathy Notice - 1,757
3) John Palmer - 770
4) Varien Lonamei - 281
5) Dickson Goramana - 39
6) Redle'e Ausopa - 33
Dr Calwick will be serving his second term in Parliament. He is a member of the Democratic Alliance Party (DAP).
