Staff of the National Referral Hospital are under going training on Front Office Skills and Customer Relations.

The training is a first of its kind conducted for staff of the hospital, and is conducted by Solomon Host.

A statement from Solomon Host says this training is important for the efficient delivery of quality and professional service to customers, in this case sick patients and the public at large.

It says the delivery of quality and efficient service will definitely help with the fast recovery of sick patients.

The idea for this training was initiated by CEO of NRH, Mr Douglas Ete after receiving numerous complaints from the public on the level of service provided at the hospital.

Mr. Ete believes that the hospital is part of the service and hospitality industry, and therefore require all staff members to be extremely efficient in their work.

He urges his staff to utilize the training to enhance their skills and knowledge in providing a quality and efficient service to visitors to the hospital.

Departments represented at the training include the Pharmacy, Dental, Outpatient, Drivers, Switchboard operators, stores, laundry and kitchen.

Three series of training are being conducted and will be completed this week.
