Mr. Philip Talaolia, arrested on Saturday in Avuavu in the Weathercoast, appeared briefly before the central magistrates' court late yesterday afternoon.

However, magistrate judge Mr. William Seneka adjourned the case for another 14 days, "as investigations are yet to conclude."

Mr. Talaolia arrested and charged for one count of attempted murder will be remanded at the Rove Prison and will be appearing before the magistrates' court on the 24th of this month.

Meanwhile, the New Zealand RAMSI officer alleged to have been beaten by Mr. Talaolia is said to be still undergoing treatment in New Zealand.
