The Minister of Health and Medical services Dr Culwick Togamana has advised the public of new community hotspots following positive tests recorded from residents in the area.
The 12 new hotspots are as follows;

2. Tuvaruhu
3. Pakoe
4. Kukum SDA HQ
5. Kombivatu
6. Lengakiki
7. Number 3
8. Mbokonavera 2
9. Tanuli
10. Panatina Heights
11. Ranadi APCO area
12. Pacific Casino area
Other areas previously listed by the Health Ministry that remains a hotspot are;
1. Abira
2. Borderline
3. Burns Creek
4. Fijian Quarter
5. Point Cruz
6. Gilbert Camp
7. Ranadi
8. Jackson Ridge
9. Lau Valley
10. Lord Howe Settlement
11. Mamulele
12. Mbaranaba
13. Mbokona
14. Mbokonavera / Mbokonavera 3
15. Mbua Valley
16. Naha Heights / Naha 3
17. Ngossi
18. Rove
19. Sisiga
20. Talise
21. Tasahe / Tasahe B

There are now a combined total of 38 hotspots identified by the Ministry of Health throughout Honiara and parts of Guadalcanal.
Those living in these areas are advised to limit movements. The general public are advised to keep away from these areas until the extent of the spread is identified.
