Thanks Samuel for your thumps up to Honiara City Health Services. I join you in congratulating them on this reactive initiative. As you have stated Public health has done more in the prevention of dieases than curative medicine. simple things such as proper hygiene in our everyday living prevent us from getting infected with germs. Our difficulty is recognizing our need to be healthy when we needed it the most.
I would also like to encourage the Honiara City Health Service department to be more pro - active in responding to Public Health issues affecting the Health of its city people. There a lots of evidence and indicators in Honiara to develop Public Health programs rather than waiting to see and then responding. Keep up the good work.
