The issue of contaminated imported products from China highlights the need for better checks on imported items. This is not only for food products but for other items like toys for kids.
Sugar & fat contents of some food stuffs are just eye opening. Many toys that are imported for kids are even dangerous. For example, some toys are too small that a child can aspirate to block the airways. This can result in asphyxia. Kids usually put the toys to their mouth so we must know the chemicals that are used on these toys also.
