Dear Editor,
Please allow me space to put few comments on the issue of the new Police Commissioner. I should say that we need a well experienced and qualified person, who can do the job in a professional manner. We need to look at how the new commissioner will make the police force alive and provide the security and justice needed by the people.
Rather than worrying that the Police Commissioner post has been mostly dominated by expatriates, what we need to look at is the out come, and not the pride, when the country still on its rebuilding process. The country is still struggling to bring back lasting peace, and what we need is someone who cannot be influenced. We cannot pretend that we can do the job in a fair manner, and play the roles that supposed to be played. Previous experience had proved that we need to learn more.
Tagio tumas.
New Police Commissioner
