Next on the Chopping Board
This latest high-profile admission behind bars is a source of comfort for some, but a stingy discomfort for others. As long as the Judiciary is comfortable we should be safe in our motherland. And I have no doubt, like George, with the independent and upright capacity of our rejuvenated judiciary that the chopping board will be quite engaged in the period ahead for more politicians. Everyone knows too well. Voters are again reminded that money, macho and pride surrounding electoral choices equate to such a humble muting of your voices in the House (of Parliament). Integrity, humility and dignity promise sound returns. It is now laid to the defense lawyers to interpret the Laws of the Land again for these guys if culling is to be averted, but please be conscious of public justice while protecting our MPs. In the meantime we shall watch the chopping board.
