Interesting staff on Solomon for Republic. Well, in case many may wonder whether Commonwealth does benefit Solomon Islands at all. It does.
Most Solomon Islanders who trained in UK are under commonwealth programs or a joint Commonwealth program. As a member of the Commonwealth, there are alot of benefits in terms of trainings, projects or other kinds of assistance. I wonder whether the public does know about this.
UK have been a great assistance to Solomon Islands since Indpendence. It does it through through the European Union. Most UK's assistance to Solomon Islands are diverted through the European Union. The problem with us is we do not manage these assistance properly giving a bad impression on donors who invested their money on us.
