As Ex Officio of Maasina Fiji Students Association, I urge Solomon Islands Government to carry out a fact finding action report into students' poor performance at USP and compile a report on the same. Perhaps, the findings will fall under two pillars, internal and external factors affecting students' academic performance at USP. That report no doubt, will highlight key factors. Let all students, concerned USP staff and lecturers, and few citizens of Solomon Islands who resided outside of USP aired their views. Perhaps, with that wider consultations and comprehensive deliberations, our Government will be in a better position to identify, and response to students' poor performance at USP. Hence, it is unsafe and unsatisfactory for me to make any conclusion at this stage, unless an independent fact finding action report is released.
