Dear Editor,
Just to correct Paul on some issues. Obtaining the qualification of MBBS does not mean that you can still peform good medicine if you have not practised it for so many years. In the field of medicine, you have to update your yourself everyday to catch up with the daily knowledge and practice. The eye doctor mentioned here is not a FULLY qualified eye doctor as well...please check the Ministry of Health..A fully qualified eye doctor is referred to as Ophthalmologist and there is ONLY ONE fully qualified Ophthalmologist whom I heard has resigned and is in Suva, Fiji. There are so many things that needs to be investigated about this eye doctor who is practising in Lautoka as a private practitioner and still uses TAX PAYERS money for his trips and also maybe his SALARY as well...who knows??? He is supposed to help the soccers boys who went to play in Lautoka because he is using the tax payers money without working in the Solomons for the last 7-8 years. Please investigate because this is what I believe as CORRUPTION.
Where is the doctor?
