Wantoks, having re-read Sina's comments earlier, I do not see it as belittling or unappreciative in any manner. If I may interpret Sina's comments, before he has the time to respond himself, I understand that Sina began by thanking ROC for their kind donation to the people of SI. He then went on to use the wheel chair as an analogy to describe the SI Government's dependency on aid for its developmental activities over the years.
Finally, he made statements and raised important questions that our national leaders need to seriously consider, in order to rescue SI from this aid dependency syndrome, or "wheel chair syndrome", as he referred to it. I think Sina raised a very important issue that should have been seriously considered by successive SI governments over the last 30 years ago, rather than wasting SI people's time in playing political games to serve their own interests, which further hinders development in our country.
